One tree that missed the boat by a few feet, and then just a sample of downed powerlines in SE CT.

Great pictures, but I'm hoping everyone is ok and doing well.

Some of NJ got hit hard, I was fortunate, no water or damage to the boat or house.
Water came over the lower deck and that was it, strong winds and rain all night, didn't seem like a cat 1 to me, our Nor Easter from 91 was 10 times worse.

Hope eveyone is safe up there.

I've never been through a real hurricane, and still haven't but this gave me a taste of what it's like on a small scale. I'm in Wrentham, MA and no power, trees down and a bunch of roads closed - from just a tropical storm. Boat is in Rhode Island and will try to get down to see it today. Haven't had power since yesterday morning so I'm taking the family to a hotel. Given how many lines are down I don't expect we'll have it back soon. Will post pics when I get the laptop charged.

i had 3 pretty good sized trees go down.

tree 1: destroyed my deck railing
tree 2: clipped my roof and destroyed the overhang
tree 3: squished an Audi

not a great day for us, but i still think we were pretty lucky. i actually had to work all day Sunday and missed the excitement. then came home and spent the rest of the evening working on the trees.

It honestly didn't look all that bad out there. I would guess your average fall noreaster does more sand shifting. That being said, I havn't been out yet to play. The boat will splash tonight.

Joey, Sorry to see the damage. Sucks.

Just gotback from the marina. Beautiful day. Everything was dry as a bone... And it seems the storm did a good job of cleaning all the boats. I was 1 of probably 5% of boats that hauled; played it safe. The management did a good job of moving boats that were tied up in less protected areas. No damages at all.
