Question 21 foot robalo cuddy

how do you know or size your boat for a prop. I have a yamaha 250 hp on the back of it with a 21 inch prop. not yet in the water

I have a 21 center console with a 225 mercury. I am spinning a 17 inch mirage plus. Gets me to 5500 RPM and 46-50 mph depending on load. I think you may be a little heavier, but you have more hp. Your 21 pitch may be too large.

Hi I have a 2000 2420 with a merc 250 and it has a mercury marine mirage plus 48-18278 17 P. I know this cause I am reading it off the papers that came with the boat. Good luck!
