Suzuki is going to be your cheapest option compared to Yamaha and Mercury, you will pay more for Yamaha based on brand and you will pay more for Mercury because of the rigging/power steering that goes with their product

I'm stating the obvious, but you should commit to this sooner rather than later since inventory is low or months out. A friend just committed to a 200 Suzuki from Ship Shop and he might be looking at June. He took advantage of the promos and rebates, but I can't comment on financing.

Call on inventory!!!!
Call on inventory!!!!!!!
Call on inventory!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All manufacturers are short on supply Suzuki has been really short on AP 300's for a while supposedly there was a boat full of them arriving in CA recently.
This is not the atmosphere that you can wheel and deal too much on price if you want to be fishing by July you better call now every dealer within 200 miles and see what they have ON THE LOT, then when you find nothing call within 300 miles etc. Do not commit to anyone without inventory or you will be sorry.
Honestly this is what I would do and yes it sucks. Call Danny's Marine in MD they sell more Suzukis North of FL than anyone find out what they have drag your boat down there leave it there a week then get it the week later. This will be by far the lowest cost repower you can find, they will most likley have supply and you won't miss a day of fishing.
If you wait or deal with anyone waiting on inventory your going to be really sorry in June and probably July. Manufacterers right now can't sell boats because they can't get engines if you think your jumping in front of them with a guy that sells a handful of repowers a year your missing the boat.
