Default How’s your fuel oil and propane prices?

We got a fuel oil delivery a week ago priced at $2.29/gal. Just received propane at $2.88/gal. How are prices in your neck of the woods?
this is likely a preview of what to expect at the fuel docks for diesel.

I'm in Fairfield County, paid $1.88 for propane last month. I signed up with the Freedom Energy buying group. It saves about $.75 over the normal prices. I really couldn't believe the savings, and wish I found out about this years ago. It costs $100 per year to join, but it will pay for itself on first fill-up. https://www.freedomenergygroup.com. If you appreciate this tip, PM me your name and email and I can "refer" you. Then when you sign up, I get $25! Once you signed up, you can refer other people too and get the kickback,

I filled up my tanks just before this run hopefully I can wait it out a bit. I think worst case I may need 2-300 more gallons to get to August then fill it when it’s cheap.

Can you just come out and make a stupid political post instead of veiled commentary so this thread can get deleted already?

Fuel oil is never any indication of anything fuel dock related.

There, feel free to compare prices and historicals. Prices are down currently on average due to less heating days and above average temps so far this winter.
This trend continues into next week with temps in the 40's again.

This trend continues into next week with temps in the 40's. LAST year is useless. Oil has gone up quite a bit in that last couple of weeks due to 30 year record low temps in places like Texas. Looks like crude might be hitting some resistance now. Opec talking about increasing output. A fifth of US output off line due to the cold weather. Should see them come back on line with in a couple of weeks. March contracts continue to climb.

I heard a noise outside this morning and saw the propane truck in the driveway.
I haven't gone out to get the ticket yet. I'm sure it will be a good one.

I thought fuel was included in the price of the slip, given the prices being charged.

I went out and got the ticket from todays fill. 270Gal @ $3.50/gal

Thankfully we only get about 3 large fills/year and are one the equal payment program so it spreads the load over the year.

Damn, I guess $2.52/gal last week for LPG was better than I thought. Got oil delivery last Monday also $2.10/gal.
