Default This week's nor easter

Looks like the recent storm has opened up another breach on north beach in chatham. Harbor master says if it gets any bigger it will be a threat to the fishing fleet and the town. Another breach is the last thing that area needs.

We still have a lot of winter to go, so who knows what will happen. And I doubt we'd ever see anything man made, like a jetty - there is just too much sand.

Remember that time the environmentalists stopped the repair of the breach in the barrier beach? Yeah, that was cool...

Took a quick ride yesterday to look at trailers and shovel the walkway, so ran down to the light. This pick is just looking north from the lighthouse parking lot, just around high tide, and will likely change with this weeks storms.
