Default Marine forecast for tomorrow (Saturday, 10/10)?

With only two weekends left in the season I am tempted to run offshore tomorrow for some tuna wishing, but the forecast really doesn't look great. I typically play it safe and I wouldn't normally go out in 20+mph sustained winds, but the season is quickly coming to an end. How bad do you think it will be out there tomorrow? Winds will be out of the S-SW so that's usually not bad, but some sources show 4ft seas @5 seconds, which if true, will suck.

Last night Station 44098 - Jeffrey's had only 11kt wind with 5 foot / 5 second period waves. And that won't get better............

This season looks over for me. I was hoping for one more good weekend, but this weekend looks bad if you trust the wind and wave models. Marina says that we need to be out by 10/15, so I'm probably pulling out on Sunday. How depressing. I need to wait until 5/2021 until I'll be on the water again.

Just saw on the Boston news that 3 guys caught a 1000+ lb. bluefin last week. Looked to be out of Gloucester.

The Discovery Channel did a few episodes of a Wicked Tuna copy cat program. That kid was one of the main characters.

We've
had this discussion a time or two..fall fishing is great,IF you can get out, at my age one or two trips wont change my life for the better, but it could change it for the worse, I prefer to pull the boat early, get my maintenance done and have an early spring, keeping my boat on a usable trailer has it's own value.

Yeah, this sucks. I was up at 4:30 this morning hoping to at least go out striper fishing, but when I saw how hard it was blowing I went back to bed. Looks like they posted a Gale warning and a small craft advisory. Time to find something to do around the house I guess.

I headed to a ramp on the bayside just to see who ventured out as I figured a SW wind may have had a few people hug the shore. Nope. Empty. But later this morning it looked like either EP or harbor master was buzzing around Lewis Bay when we ventured over that way. Other than that, I’m hoping the change in direction tonight let’s me sneak off to the south side to see if anything is around.
