The only one I see is the one in Freeport, NY. I have a 32 express with a 13ft beam and twin 300hp cats and the engine room is tight. A 32 with 425 hp, would be fast but I couldn't see how you could get to the out side of the engines to do any maintenance.
You have had more boats than me but small express diesels are tough.

Thank you. Yeah - not really jumping into the pool yet but would just love to see one in person, even a private owner w no plans to sell

Besides his being a 31, the 5.9 Cummins engine is smaller than the 3116/3126/C7 CAT engine in every dimension, so it would be easier to work on then the CAT in the same small space.

thanks Lobsta....not looking to see a 31, looking to see a 32, which is actually a significantly different boat. There is a 32' on our river in falmouth and I've tried to reach out to the owner to see if we could simply view it but havent heard anything back

If anyone knows of a 32 available near mass, or the contact info of the Hyannis owner, please let me know. Looking to go on a boat for 3 min to get a feel for engine room, layout, etc.

The shearline is honestly perfect and I'm pretty doubtful we'll make a move as we'll never be able to get back into one. But my father has a bias toward diesel and slower cruising vs the high performance cold mold.
