Just put in this evening, hoping to check out Narrow River this weekend as well. Weather does not look too great.

3 weeks ago I watched shad coming into Seekonk River, could have walked across them. I've been out 6 times and have gotten 8 tog, bunch of shorts too. Some short bass in the mix, up to 27". It's nice having fresh fish again!

Hoping to be on the water in Naragansett bay pretty soon. Even a tiny schoolie is better than no fish at all! Use a smaller rod and it feels like a monster!

The girls got into the schoolies, pulling 3 over the rails the other day.

got out this morning early for a quick trip. Fished the rock piles off the Narraganset beaches, a little cold today but we managed 4 keepers and handful of shorts in about 2 and a half hours. Probably should have went into Jamestown area but we were tight on time today.

Took a ride south of the windmills today to see if there were some cod around. Weather conditions were not ideal. Fished for an hour and caught 5 cod but only 1 keeper. 4 fish were 20 inches and the last was 24. Good to bend the rods again. too bad the waves sucked.

rifisher88,
Good luck. Give us a report on how you do. I had a few hiccups and have not put the boat in yet. Hopefully next week either Wednesday or Thursday if the wind ever lets up.
