Heard lobsters were cheap now that the Chinese aren't buying them. I live in northern New Jersey...anyone have a shop that gets good lobsters...will go to Connecticut or long Island...

Thanks in advance

you shouldn’t have to go anywhere. If you find a good company. Call and have shipped. They will box up and dry ice them. And overnight.

no travel required

And that sucks...we can support by buying lobsters right here in the USA. If it involves buying lobsters to help others..I am all for it.

same here. maybe $1-2 off the normal winter prices, but the weather has been good too. (so boats can fish frequently)
Not the huge price cut that the news suggests.

In my area the local lobsterman can’t even fish till April 30th if the right whales leave cc bay by then, if not then the ban if extended till they leave.

Lobster prices to the boat are as low as as can be. It takes a while to get down to the consumer because most places bought at a higher price. These are patriot lobster in Salem’s prices. This is who I sell to when my boat is in the water.
