Think I’m going to give it a shot on Monday.
I have a hard time believing these seas are going to settle by Sunday.
its still howling now. Go have a look. Angry ocean.
Also
Sunday will be a “clear out” day.more than likely a cold NW.
usually around 20kts too.
I don’t trust the NAT weather service any more than any of our government.

Sunday wont be that bad. the wind is already laid down by about 15 mph on CCB. Large long period swells east of ptown tomorrow but after this blow theres probably plenty of fish up in the bay and that probably where I'll make my final stand haha.

Hopefully I can find some life, and stumble upon a few topwater feeds... live line some macs as a backup. I have high hopes of seeing some Tuna on my deck

I'm thinking Monday for a trip to SW corner.....any reason to believe this is a good location - feel like random show here after a multiday blow like this mess.

If no Tuna luck, may try some deep haddock/cod.

Anyone with thoughts on either idea - I am all ears.

Could do East of chatham as alternative....thinking that will be a weed mess out there.....but totally guessing.

HullGut was smooth as glass at 8am. Absolutely beautiful. Boat ran great, hardly anyone else out there. The only bummer was that we couldn’t locate a bunch of lobster pots long set and the storm, they’re probably tangled up on themselves. Hoping the lines loosen up and they show up before we haul. If anyone sees some wine and gold lobster buoys off Peddocks, let me know.

Bumpy ride out to Stellwagen, found some gannets bombing and set up... We got bit the first 10 minutes @7am... live Mac, spinning gear. Here is the shitty part, after fighting for 5-10 seconds I tightened my drag??? Honestly donít know why... still scratching my head. Then pop... I had 80 Floro break with my beautiful FG knot intact and 9Ē of Floro returned. Then nothing for the next 7 hours...

Yes Iím new in this game and have a lot to learn... although I have landed a few fish targeting topwater run and gun, live baiting these fish is brand new to me.

Just drove by the area where your boat is.. I saw a bunch of big boats facing the fence with beards bigger than ZZ top.
Why don't they PW them before blocking them ?

That's the old buzzard's lane along the fence. They never get underway.Mine is nice and clean because I use it and cruise 20-24kts.
