Default Highest tide since Sandy

Big water in my back yard. The tide is 6” less the hurricane Irene . Some body pull the plug.

Same here in Waretown NJ last night. Kind of scary that there was almost no news coverage of this "event."

News said minor coastal flooding. I have to climb down 3 steps to get on my boat. Now I need a ladder. Lucky my house is above flood zone.

nothing close to sandy/irene here

flooding was forecast though the storm and rain shifted course

imagine if we got all that rain...

We live pretty much in the middle of ground zero for Sandy. It’s at least three feet lower, maybe more.

No where near as bad as Sandy, but the weather people definitely dropped the ball here in NJ.

5+ days of hard NE wind leading up to a harvest moon = no bueno.

6 inches shy of Irene is about right in Babylon,
close to 3 feet shy of Sandy.

My boat was above my finger dock. Ropes maxed out. Luckily it did not go any higher. Was a close call in Lanoka Harbor.
