Default The Pier at Cordage Park

Does anyone keep their boat at the Pier at Cordage Park? I was looking online for some information about it and can't find much. I know when it was first built it was pretty tidal. I'm wondering if it's still that way.

Nothing first hand but I hear its pretty rough in a ne/e blow, must be interesting right now, I'm willing to bet its hard to get info about the place bc its booked solid, there are not a lot of slip options in the bay.

I was down there today. There were only 4 boats in the water and they were getting thrown around. There is absolutely no protection from a NE wind. I also heard you can't get in and out at low tide.

It's a terrible marina for protection and you get hauled early. My parents kept there boat there for a long time. Theres some tidal obstructions as well. Generally I'd say avoid it.

It’s also not a nice place to hang out on a boat. Sad and decrepit area.

Thanks for the info! I know that they’re trying to develop the area. Finally tore down Walmart and there are condos and such going in. We were discussing alternate options. Like you said, there isn’t much in Plymouth which is why I thought of it.
