Default Gnats, Gnats, G'dam Gnats

What do you people in the Northeast do to combat these little f'ers from infiltrating your boats cabin by the hundreds?

Turn off all your lights. Especially colored LEDS and instrument clusters. They should be getting less now, its getting chilly at night.

No lights on after I leave the boat..that's when they show up. I know they will start to subside now, but they will be back next year. Someone has to have a home remedy?

Lets just say the spiders on my boat (not sure how they even get there) are VERY healthy and plump this time of year from eating the gnats.

That’s not that many. I can take you to Delacroix la and you will swear to give up fishing for life if I just bring you back to the dock. Bathing in skin so soft is only thing that works marginally. They still bite the eye ball, in ears, nostrils, ect.... Off is an attractant, they gargle in that stuff.

I put some red vinegar, dish detergent and little red wine in a small cup. They all nose dive right into it...
