Default Humpbacks feeding off Scituate yesterday

Humpbacks feeding off Scituate yesterday. As close as 100 yards from the beach in 20 feet of water.

I think they were there Tuesday also.

Incredible photo! I've seen Minke's and Humback's out in front of Duxbury and Marshfield this year but not that close to shore.

The tuna are right with them in. 25-40ft, I have a great video of fish crashing and airing out

X2 on amazing pic & video, couldn't imagine what it would be like to be in a boat and see that so close up.

While fishing in the pogie schools a few hundred years off the beach yesterday...

Earlier in the day we watched another very large whale feeding in 15 ft of water just off the coast of Avon beach in Marshfield. Crazy times.
Sea Tow Ethan likes this.

That's awesome. We're headed to P-Town this week, I'll have to keep my eyes open. Scariest thing that ever happened to me was having a whale pop up directly in front of me on one trip across the bay. Thank god for turning quickly and powering down just as quickly.

Default Off of Manchester

The pogy make the whales and tuna do crazy things! Friday night I was off of Manchester by the Sea and there were Tuna and Whales not far from shore! Very cool to see the fishery like that! A little scary in a small CC.

Could be wrong but I think that’s the same humpback that you saw earlier. We spent a few hours with it, doing loops up and down the beach. I can hear my guests scream in your video ha. Feeding, breaching, sunning all in 12-60 fow. Unreal photos and truly an amazing time.
