I'm heading over to Provicetown towards the end of the week for the annual blessing of the fleet. We are likely going to have some time on Friday morning before other friends arrive so was thinking of doing some whale watching. I seem to recall it was SE corner of Stellwagon was where we went last time, but would appreciate any current intel on best location for viewing.
Thanks

Been watching the AIS location of the whale boats this morning and they are hanging around the Southern end of SWB and once off of Truro. The Southern end seems to be the most popular lately.

Just checked AIS. Two WW boats just of the NE tip of Race Point and another one on the East edge about mid bank. All stopped for prolonged periods so must be getting some action.

Anyone been looking for whales on the bank recently. From what I here they are few and far between. Was thinking of making the trip with 10 on board soon but think I might wait till after Labor Day

Tey’re all off Chatham so you’ll need a smaller charter boat, which is way better than a whale watching boat anyway. Lots of charter guys run combo tours or whatever you want tours from the fish pier, Ryder’s or Outermost Harbor

I don’t know, this one seemed pretty close to the North Shore
