Default Fishing the Long Island Sound (Eastern)

Hey all - new member here! I've been reading this thread for years. Lots of experience and knowledge on here.

But enough of the brown nosing - I just recently moved to East Haddam and will be looking to leave my boat in Old Saybrook. At this point I don't really know my way around as far as the fishing is concerned.

I love fluking, seabass, striper, blue fish. I run a fishing/hunting instagram account where we like to post pictures of what we've gotten over the years - Check it out @putmeonthemeat

As far as the sound - I have been to cornfield shoal and popped some gorilla blues last year but other than that I am a newby. I've done the majority of my fishing out of Point Judith but with the sound being a 25 minute ride its a no brainer to go there instead.

Not looking for anyone's numbers or honey holes here but some direction on shoals, wrecks, and buoys that I should checkout and when the fish are typically there.

I am running a 20' Sea Hunt Triton CS

Thanks in advance!

Grab a Capt. Seagull chart for the area.......will have most of the "known" spots on the chart
