Went out today and my photo album would have looked like aubv's. One of those days that you could run it like you stole it so I did, to the tune of 70 total miles. Fished around Lucas Shoal, ran over to Squibnocket, then Nomans, then outside Quicks, back to Lucas, then home via Robinson's Hole. I think the only time I ran under 30 kts was leaving and entering the harbor. Great day to do some prospecting, since the fishing was so-so. Lots of small fluke, big scup, and some 28" stripers at Lucas. No shortage of small sea robins either.

4 is such a great age for grandparents! You can make them smile with the worst dad jokes. They are sweet, cute, gullible, and atrocious, all at the same time. A great age to celebrate!

Add ten years and you are senile and smell bad if you criticize them. Ten more years and they wish they spent more time with you before you really became senile and smelled really bad.

Was out on the sound yesterday, no fish but I didn’t care as it was a beautiful day! Toured around fishers, went down around Saybrook. All in very pleasant day. Boarded by the CG outside of New London all check out ok. Really great couple of guys!
