Yes it is about time. We wait all winter for this. Went down to the boat tonight for just a couple of things. Can't believe the number of boats still in the parking lot. What are they waiting for??

Mine is in the middle of the parking lot! Waiting for cutlass bearings that turned into strut removal that now might be shaft removal. Starting the season off right!!

Thank you for the reminder.
Later this morning I'll be installing a respectable stainless mount on top of the pilothouse for the American Flag.

Hey, at least you have the right attitude! Sometimes ya just gotta laugh at things. Hope you get everything done soon.

It's all good with the exception to the bill I'm going to get! My kid has a hockey tournament next weekend so I can't use the boat anyway. After that all bets are off!!! Have a great weekend everyone.

Blew up a bit Saturday afternoon, but Sunday was nice. Great day on the bay, but it would be real nice if people practiced launching and loading their boats on something other than a holiday weekend, and the first nice one we've had in a while. Maybe it's time to start thinking about a slip . . .

Boat arrived safely early Saturday evening. Drainplug installed.
Met my dockmates. Plenty of dogs on my pier to keep my first mate happy (oh, and my dockmates seemed nice too). All safety gear arrived safely, tho I think my dry/ditch bag is a size too small, as I want to keep my scuba skins in there, just in case. I started to play around with my Navionics app (so I know where I am when I run around in Boston Harbor, lol) and I have detailing lined up for the end of the month (before she's transferred to Maine for 2 weeks of Penobscot Bay cruising with my Mom....I have not seen my Mom so excited about something for years).
Fingers crossed the yard can get her plopped into the water this week. Otherwise, boaters in Maine will also be at risk.

Sunday was beautiful. A bit windy all around, but really nice. Boat ran really well so I can't complain.

Beautiful weekend on Boston Harbor and Islands. Got out Sunday and Monday. A little windy but only had to deal with it returning to the slip. I see that Spectacle, Georges, and Gallop Islands have their moorings in and soon to be active on Dockwa, this week I think. Spectacle Island docks, as rough as they are, still free for two more weeks.
Techie good luck with launch and boating this weekend. Enjoy your trip to Penobscot Bay. I moored in Camden Harbor 20 years ago and miss it. I still love it up there when I get a chance to visit my Mom.
