Here's to a great season. Looks like things are starting to heat up just to the south of us. If you go let us know.

had some time to throw some gopro footage together with the crappy WX. go pro quik app is pretty sweet, all I had to do was add music. always a pleasure putting friends on their first bft and watching them get worked

Sounds like bluefin in the chicken canyon area. Thinking of trying in the next few days - decent weather window

Go get’em basspond. If they are right about the weather it looks great. One fish will spark a frenzy on this board. Good luck

The fish are out there gents, we couldn't connect Saturday but a few friends did. Fish from 50 lbs to 400 lbs. I will say the table is set for an outstanding midshore tuna bite. Bait and mammals like you can't believe. Water brown with sand eels. We sat in the middle of a humpback bubble feed for an hour just like you see on Nat Geo. Hooking sand eels on every cast with topwater plugs they were so thick. The fish were just very keyed in on small sand eels, wide trackers triggered the most bites from friends that got bit.

Hopefully the guys I talked to that ran today get into them!

I have a few friends out there today. Would've gone but it's my kid's bday. They had good reports from Saturday.

Glad to hear life has finally moved in! Where was the bite out of this weekend? We plan on leaving out of Shinnecock Friday evening and fishing into Saturday. Let me know if anyone else plans on making the trip next weekend and would like to buddy up.

Got to the tuna grounds yesterday....had a knock down on the troll that snapped at the crimp(probably my fault) and another knock down that didnt come tight, on the way home we found the mother load...tuna feeding on top in every direction you looked....triple hook up on stick baits and we landed our 2 unders and our 1 over, was wild...chased the schools around for awhile but couldn't get any other fish to commit.. Headed home with a full box and a happy crew.
