I'm excited to announce the launch of New Wire Marine's sister site: RockerSwitchPros.com! This is a website build around our super popular custom switch actuators paired with our backlit Carling rocker switches. We've talked with a number of members here and many months later it's finally here!

Keep reading b/c you're doing to LOVE our new online custom switch designer. Yup... we've developed a virtual interface where you can build your own custom rocker switch actuator and order online. You can select your symbol, enter your own text, chose color and orientation and order in less than 10 minutes. We've CUT both the design time AND cost! Keep reading for more about this.

Rocker Switch Pros is made by the same great folks as the New Wire Marine products many on this forum have worked with... same office, same people, same phone number and you can expect the same customer service and quality.

My concept behind Rocker Switch Pros was simple... provide the customer information and flexibility to a common yet surprisingly confusing and constrained product: A SWITCH.

You know from our thread with over 22,000 views that we really try to inform our customers... well we've tripled those efforts. Each switch product (example here) now has three times the details... actual product images, terminal images, jpeg and PDF detailed downloadable pin out diagrams. RockerSwitchPro's blog features tons of information. We've even started a database of specialty wiring diagrams (well, full white papers really) on common specialty wiring schemes. My goal is for RockerSwitchPros.com to not only be a place to get great prices on great switches, but an information resource for anyone re-wiring any 12V system.

A tour of the homepage... simple:
  1. Switch covers (actuators)
  2. Switch Bodies
  3. Accessories

The creation we're most proud of is our custom actuator design tool. You can build your own virtual rocker switch cover from a blank slate.

Choose your color, your orientation (vertical or horizontal), pick from a library of over 150 (and growing) symbol images, type in two lines of your own text, and finally, choose whether you need a bottom actuator lens or not.

We've got more switch options than ever before (and planning to bring more online soon) - both white lamps and red LEDs - Just look at all the info we provide on each product page... if you know what you're looking for it's quick and simple, if you're still learning you can spend hours on our site gleaning tidbits of info.

We've got some feedback already, and rolled out the first major improvement. You can now choose from (4) bottom lens options on the actuator: https://rockerswitchpros.com/product...itch-actuator/

You can get an oval, a bar lens, an arrow lens, or write in your own text.

I got my two switches and they are wonderful. The website was very easy to use and has a bunch of different design options. I ordered my switches and in three days I received them in the mail. I will be using this service again when I need more.

Great! Thanks for the kind words cwhite6, and let us know if there's anything we can do for you in the future.

Really tried to make this website as easy to use as possible. I'd a bit complex product if you're not familiar with it, but is not hard once you get your mind wrapped around how the switches work. Will be doing some product videos shortly too to really show how these switches work.

thanks!

We've just rolled out another update to RockerSwitchPros.com. We've got a slightly different look and feel, and also recently added blue LED switches to our lineup.

We've added more symbol options as well (now over 200): http://rockerswitchpros.com/product/...itch-actuator/

Check us out!

Thanks!

Designing the actuators and ordering them was a breeze. Did it on Monday night. Received an email on Tuesday that they were etched and shipped. Delivered on Thursday. Awesome. Cannot wait to head down to the boat and install them. Great doing business with you Eric.

Installed the actuators yesterday. Took less than 5 minutes. They look great. All my neighbors plan on ordering some now. Thanks again.

Default Thanks Eric

Here are some pics of my new panel in my KeyWest 268 Bluewater..

Boat is eight years old and the stainless panel was showing its age. Also, none of the switches could be read.

I had already worked with someone local to make the panel, replacing the KW emblem in the center with our boat name.

I had a handful of actuators, bodies and covers that would not work for me and Eric got me headed in the right direction to get the proper switches and covers together.

Here are a few pics of the finished product..

Thanks again Eric!
