Lived here all my life and I've still never eaten BSB. Never even caught one close to legal.

Outside of tuna sashimi, it’s my favorite fish to eat. Tastes like crab!

Maybe I didnt prepare it right, cause my BSB didnt taste anything like crab. In fact when I served it along side grilled/marinated AJ, the AJ was gone and there was still BSB left over.

My guess is you over cooked it. Crabs are a major part of their diet and I can taste it. Any fish dish can be made or destroyed pending handling, prep and cooking.

Id be curious about AJ. Never targeted them, may take some croakers on a ride out to the wrecks this year. Did you catch AJs of VA coast?

Not overcooked, I am pretty particular about my fish, i do not like overcooked fish. I grilled them along side the AJ, same marinade. Don't get me wrong , it was good but I liked the AJ better.

AJ's were in NC. Good firm steaky meat, holds a marinade good.

I usually take it to tomahund in Charles city. He's backed up and 2 techs are on vacation. They always treat me well but I simply can't wait.

I'll be shopping around, might depend on whomever has the time to get to it. Buddy gave me the number of a mobile guy, but if the motor has to come out I doubt a mobile tech can do that without a lift. cant tell where oil is coming from.

Had fresh caught AJ alongside mahi a couple of years ago down in Hatteras. The AJ easily blew the mahi away. One of the best tasting fish I've ever had.

Yep I've tried both of them today with no answer.

Typically everywhere is 3-4 weeks of the 15+ shops I've called
