Default Where to stay Annapolis or Baltimore

Looking for some advise. Looking to head Annapolis or Baltimore or any other place by boat from the c&d in June. We like to bar hop and day drinking (really like day drinking). Not staying on boat so need a hotel or BB.
Looking fun bars and easy to get around. Any help would be great!!!

Stay away from Baltimore. Annapolis is fun with a ton of of bars within walking distance to the b and b's. We stayed at chick and Ruth's last year which is good if you are looking for a cheaper option to stay. Also, consider Rock Hall if you are looking for something less touristy and plan on spending days on the boat. You will be close to other other boat hangouts like tolchester and fairlee creek

Annapolis without question. Easy run too.

I’d stay at one of the Calvert house B&B’s. There’s a few and they’re all easily walkable from the marinas. You could also try an Air BNB. You really just need a place to sleep since you’ll be out and about.

this. We go there a few times a year. You can grab a morning ball for the boat and take a water taxi in. We like The Historic Inns of Annapolis and stay there every so often.

Hilton Graden Inn Kent Island.

Bar hop the island, they are right at your doorstep. You also have the option taking your boat over to Annapolis for the day and more bar hopping.

this. most waterfront bars in Kent Island have docking, Annapolis not so much.

Bars are crazier on Kent Island, much different than Annapolis.

Call the hotel. Last time I stayed there they referred me to the marina owner that owns the marina adjacent to the hotel.

Kent Island. St. Michaels. I'd avoid Baltimore (and I lived there most of my life) and don't know enough about Annapolis to endorse.

X3 or 4 - Kent Island program/Hilton Garden Inn. Marina @ Hilton Garden Inn owned by separate but friendly outfit.
Easy to run to St. Michaels or Rock Hall for variety if so desired.

FYI- I have been @ Fells Point (Baltimore) for 15 years due to proximity of my residence south of Baltimore. - more fun and better food/drink to be had in Kent Island!

I am not a big drinker but recommend Annapolis or St. Mikes over Kent Island. More to see in those two towns. Shops, history, etc.

Baltimore has changed a lot recently. On a warm summer day Bo brooks and Tiki barge are both great by boat.

Hilton Garden Inn in Kent Island all the way..You can boat anywhere during the day and also walk to everything at night.. Annapolis and Baltimore are a shit show and you’ll spend a majority of time just getting from a to b.

I've lived in annapolis and now on kent island. It depends on what your looking for. Annapolis you'll have way more bars to walk around to, but most of the food is just OK and very touristy. Problem is going to be dockage. You can get a spot on ego alley or a ball through the HM. You wont be tying up to many bars there though, except Pussers if your lucky or the Fleet if your a member. Annapolis is going to be more crowded and not as laid back of a feel. But if youre looking for shopping or sightseeing, KI isn't really your place. Aside from what you can hit from the water you aren't walking anywhere and a cab/uber is not an easy find.

Kent island you'll find dockage at the Jetty, Bridges, Narrows, Big Owl, Fisherman's, Crab Deck on the south side of the narrows or Red Eyes/Harris Crab House, Annies on the North side. South island you have Kentmorr which has a good tiki/beach bar, and right at the bridge you have Hemingways, but i would recommend any of the other places over Hemingways. All the places at the Narrows are fun and good food.

St. Michaels is a good option and Rock Hall as well. I think it was mentioned, but if you based at the HGI on kent island all the other places mentioned are very easy trips by water for the day. Hope this helps.

Annapolis all the way...plenty of reserved docking at City Dock thru the Harbor Master. Great restaurants,Great Bars, beautiful historic town. You will not be disappointed. Day drinking, you can walk everywhere and not worry about BUI...pm. E,I’ve loved here for 28 years. I can give you solid advice once I know what you are looking for...Kent Island Inn is nice, but you will be stranded on an Island
