Unfortunately not. Gonna hope for the best and see what the conditions are Thurs early when I wake up. Good news it is a bigger boat, so it may be ok.

Good morning... The forecasted NE wind is going to have the fish schooling up and getting ready for the swim southbound... should be some nice schools around the mouth of the Bay after the weekend. Tight Lines

N wind is the worst possible direction for the lower bay. I think it's fishable. It's gonna be bumpy though.

I'm more concerned about catching fish lol. It's backed down into sustained in the teens with no gusts. I'm good with that. Hopefully captain is.

We are looking at Sunday. If weather holds we will get out and see if the wife can put the first cobia in the boat out of the tower.

Heading out Saturday, is the York Spit area still producing or is it time to stick to the CBBT/Eastern Shore?

Anyone going out Sunday sightcasting with a room for one more?

I have my own gear, can bring live eels, beer, and chip in for gas. I have been trying to walk-on a charter all summer since returning from deployment with no luck.

Charter today got cancelled. 0/4 in cobia fishing attempts lol (not to catch one, just to have the trip actually not get canceled). Rescheduled for 9/14. Hopefully still some around.

Too bad. Oceanfront is probably your best bet that late in the year.

If anyone fishes on Friday I'd love to hear a report. Going Saturday and it's been over a month.

spent all Friday cruising from Cape Charles to outside the high rise. Only saw one turtle with Cobia under it. Managed to snag a 40” at sunset on a bottom rigged eel. That was just below cut channel.

Great day yesterday (Friday) in the bay near the Target Ship. Caught this 38” Cobia that was successfully released. There are a few out there!
