forecast keeps changing but I I'm making plans to fish sat. it amazeses me that after 30 plus years of doing this That I can still get swelled up with anticipation like a kid on Christmas eve. it truly is a passion to me. I don't just go fishing I'm a fisherman...the same can be said about my hunting its who I am not what I do. it defines me & I'm blessed to be able to do what I love & give my family food the way it should be the old fashioned way

Friday’s forecast is moving in the wrong direction for us. Might switch to Sunday or just stay inshore if we venture out Friday. Saturday looks pretty nice but I can’t make it out then.

Offshore forecast isn't looking too good for us smaller boats Saturday, but it keeps changing back and forth. Hoping I can at least get out and fish the wrecks and reefs inshore.

Was trying to go tomorrow but cancelled. It looks like NE wind all day and NE means never ever. Maybe by Saturday or most probably Sunday when I won't have any crew.

The storm has the forecasts jumping all over the place. We’re shooting for Sunday now, but I feel like its a different forecast everytime I look. Like everyone else Im drooling over the prospect of getting out there, just hoping the forecast will cooperate.

Anyone see any bluefin on the inshore lumps or has the water temp gone up too much?

Default 3 Amigos Report Week of 7/9

We have had the opportunity to fish 4 days in the past couple days with decent yields....I ran a private boat out of Lewes last Thursday for a family that is just getting into the game and was able to deliver a successful first trip going 2:4 on nice class of Yellowfin (was pretty burnt up about breaking one off and pulling the hook on the other) I was capt and mate "buy one get one deal" and was swapping baits out and sending the bait down the middle and the first fish hit as I was deploying the bait and wound that spool up pretty damn good in free spool causing a mess that I couldn't get out prior to popping it off...Mean while 3 other rods went down and I put the crew back to work and got back to the helm to direct traffic landing two nice 50 class tuna... Earlier in the day we did box a Mahi on the troll and to finish off the day I spotted a floating plastic tote and pulled a decent mahi off of it with a popper....My other capt ran Mon, Tue, Wednesday and was able to find a few tunas and a nice box of Mahi each day along with white releases. We are also super excited regarding out new outriggers we just installed...We decided to go with the Gemlux System with 22' CF poles and the Gemlux bases....I just purchased the pulleys to go with the dredge clamps and hope to be up and running a dredge from my outriggers shortly.

Private boat out of lewes (just wanted to share the pic was an interesting boat, not set up for fishing but we got it done)

New Gemlux System on our rig

^ Those guys are wearing enough HUK apparel on that private boat one would've thought they knew how to fish. Hell some guys go from amateur to captain by just throwing those shirts on. #GucciAF
