127 cm is 50 in. Nice fish but certainly no record unless it involves line class.

It’s fork length, and if it beats what was previously turned in on IGFA standards, its a world record regardless of what anyone else has ever caught and not turned in. I originally thought the same thing, but its not about what’s been caught, its a matter of what’s been submitted. You catch a bigger one and turn it in on IGFA standards and you can have the world record. Until then, Congratulations Jack!

IGFA all tackle record is 94# 57” fork length... Sorry Jack....nice fish anyway

Could be talking about a release class record, no weight involved. I think that’s a newer category at IGFA. No?
