I've got the Young 27 on my short list for the next boat, but ideally I'd like to take a spin on one the the Mid-Atlantic (Chesapeake Bay) area.
There are plenty down south and that's an option, but their cruising conditions aren't the same.
Anyone in the region by chance have one that you'd allow me to take a peak and potentially a quick test run on?
Thanks!

Thanks Mike. I looked through his referral list and all of them are in Florida (or thereabouts). I'd like to get on one in the next few weeks and then make a trip down to their shop to get the order placed and discuss build details.
I'll give him a call tomorrow.

I sold mine to my son last month but it's still at my house in Tarpon Springs; it's the one used for Florida Sportsman's Best Boat in 2018. If nothin else we can take it out. It pretty much has every option available. Twin 300's on a dual jack plate with a full tower, dual stations and all the bells and whistles. If there's one near you Robb will know.

Kis, I have a 26 Barker open in the mid Atlantic. I have it on the Chesapeake but trailer it to Lewes and Indian River frequently to fish the Atlantic. It handles everything within reason. The young is bigger and deeper with a deeper dead rise so I would think it would handle the rough stuff much better. If Rob had that model available when I purchased my boat it would have been on my very short list. It looks to be a great all around boat for up in these parts.

Kismet,
The boat's dry weight B4 motors, T Top, front seats is 5900 lbs ( BTW a Contender 32 ST dry weight is within 50 pounds). Estimated weights from Young are : 2 motors = 1200 lb, T Top = 300. Front seats 150lb., front casting platform i think was 50 lb. Est batteries + Trolling motor = 300. misc gear 100-200. So you are at low 8,000 lb Before adding gas ( 150 G max) and Water. So totally toaded in mid 9000 lb range
