Fished out of Oregon Inlet this past Thursday, we were well north of the point. Water was blended and green with no real breaks.

We caught all the small blackfins one could want and tossed back dozens trying to find a bigger class of fish, which never happened. About midday I found a slick line with no weeds on it but about a 2 deg break on it. We got the bite we had been waiting for all day, a stud wahoo on a ballyhoo rig. That same rig also survived a nice king a bit later too.

We fished Thursday out of IRI. nice ride out, ton of bites. Came tight on 3, with one being on for 1.5 hours. After six jumps she spit the hook. Definitely bigger than the 200lber we caught last year.

New hooker tiagra 80 is awesome, highly recommend it.

Headed out again Tuesday or Wed.
