cost for waxing boat
Has anyone had their boat waxed recently? I was quoted a price of $25/ft for hull and all surfaces except non-skid areas. I think this is a little high. Any comments will be appreciated.

Just a wax? Or does your gelcoat require compounding/polishing and waxing?

Wax with spot compounding and then buffing

Just ha$ mine done and was quoted $15 a ft for 26 TV Cat . After completion price came to about $20 a ft. It is a hard pill to swallow but a lot of work involved to do right. My vinyl and motors were done as well. |
Quality compounding and waxing in my yard is 14$ per foot above the rail and 12$ per foot below. |
$25/ft is about right for detailing in this area. That should include wash, wax, brightwork, and vinyl.

compounding and wax above the rub rail including whole inside the boat at $14/foot? Man they must have cheap labor, that's way good price. A lot more hand only work and small areas hard to reach
