I will be heading out this weekend as well. I'll be around the Windmill Point area and will go wherever the fish are! Hopefully the weather and wind holds up.

Fished the Rapp a few days over the past week.
Last Monday- fished for 10 minutes, caught a 21" and called headed home
Last Tuesday- Fished hard from 7:00-1:00. only caught 6 with one keeper, no baitballs with a few sporadic marks
Wednesday- Slow again- managed a 21 and a 16" but that was it, again no major baitballs
Saturday - caught 5.

most fish coming off the bottom while trolling. fishing from urbanna up to cherry point

Fished the Bay yesterday and pretty much got on em.
3,32. 2,28 many 20 to 24 and some unders.

2 rod spread trolling
Spoon on bottom caught most and all but 1 of the 32".
1.5, 2.5 tandem on other rod did ok but less than half of the spoon. This was on a spinning setup with a 5000 Okuma. The 32" was a blast on that. I thought I snagged bottom at 1st because it wouldnt stop taking drag.

Jigged for a while and caught 20 more up to 24".

Sting silver caught most but smaller fish. Caught my 1st fish on a BKD which was 24".

Weather looks bad for my 22' for a while so I hope they stick around longer than the wind does.

Anyone going out into the bay Saturday? I know there will be NNE winds around 10, maybe even up to 15 knots. My brother and I and our friend are going to go Saturday and will try to find birds out in open water. Fortunately we are right at Windmill Point so we will be able to see how rough it is from shore. If not, then hopefully we will have some luck further up river where we will be somewhat sheltered from the NNE winds. Plan is to run light tackle only and jig for them.

I'm going Sunday, probably inside the Rapp. Temps and wind look a good bit better than Sat.

This is my plan as well. Been watching the weather all week and Sunday is definitely looking to be the better day.

still planning on going sat. Might head out of the piankatank around 9, shoot up to stingray and if its not too bad see what R2 is doing. Otherwise ill duck back into the rapp and try there for a while and on the way home hit up a little hole off of qwynns island. Hit me up on 68 if you're out there "Nealee"

Fished cut channel off mouth of rapp yesterday. Got a late start, saw, boats and birds but sloooow for us. One dink on a stretch. Green and white umbrellas did not produce and neither did tandems. Heard there was a good bite up off potomac. Stay safe anybody out there in this wind today.

Who’s fishing Sunday? Back in business on 68, we’ll be fishing early around R2 looking for birds unless we hear something else, anybody know where they are?

Did alright, caught a lot of shorts 18" and a nice 36" that I lost right at the boat, fishing solo with no auto pilot is tricky. The best action was around 1-2 pm in the cut 56-58
