Default Cat Sea Trial

Looking to make a purchase, but I have always been interested in the ride of a Cat. Anyone near OCMD or on the bay near the Bay Bridge willing to take a run in some funky stuff if I provide the gas money? Or if you fish, I can pitch in and we make a day of it? 26' or above.

No Mrs. so I can fill the boat with eye candy no problem. Just not sure if they want to go out and get sick when its snotty. I can set that up as a second trip.

Any brand in particular you are looking for? Or just anything of 26’?

WorldCat, Glacier, Grady, or ProKat 26 - 28. Would love a 32, but not sure the funds will be able to handle that. I've read and spoken to owners about the ride but its far right or left typically. I was hoping to get first hand knowledge so I could decide what would work best.

@FatCatOCMD has a 2860 ProKat. Won't speak for him but we fish together often. PM him or he may chime in here.

one of the most awsom boats iv ever been on is a 30 something baha cruiser cat boat a big sea eating machine the closest iv ever come to beying on an overturned boat was on the same boat I don't know weather the capt was not paying attention or a freak wave but coming into the mouth of the Chesapeake bay from offshore he got side to on a big swell & the port rail was on the swell and the starboard in the trough everything in the boat slammed to the starboard side water was coming over the gunnwal if anyone had been standing in the cockpit they'd have gone overboard for sure

I have a 34' Glacier bay on the south river. Always willing to give a ride in nasty conditions. There a bunch of 26' owners as well. Happy to put you in touch with the guy I sold my 2640 to.
