Hey man. Can you send me pictures of your Scout 175 SF with a T-Top. I'm thinking about possibly getting a stryker folding T top on mine. Not sure what its going to look like as this boat is just at 18ft. Feel free to send them to my personal email skyler.pullum@gmail.com. Thanks dude!

Love mine too. Bought it new and the only issue I've ever had is I learned this spring that there had been a recall of the voltage rectifier that I missed. That is the alternator to charge the battery. My battery kept going dead but the motor ran great. My mechanic figured it was the rectifier and he was right. They were overheating and melting in some cases. It was about 300 bucks total and fixed the problem. No other issues to report in 10 years so I'm happy. I think the only reason Yamaha quit making the 100 was it was overkill to offer a 90, a 100, and 115. Hope u enjoy it!

    'Afternoon Welsh,

I read a post on Scout boats that you commented on and noticed that we own the same rig. 2002 Scout 175, Yamaha F100. I've only owned the boat for a couple of months and I'm loving it so far. My question is regarding the F100. Have you had any issues with it? I wonder why they only made them for a few years. I have not had any issues but I would appreciate any advice that you may be able to offer.

    Regards,
    Dave Heffelfinger
