Hi Lou, I trailer to Gloucester mostly, sometimes Charlestown or green harbor

I haven't had it long enough to really say. I also have never owned any of the more expensive ap. It's very quiet and seems to work well. It doesn't hold a perfectly straight course. If you look back at you wake it's in a gentle S rather then a perfectly straight line. I am still learning how the adjustments effect it's operation.

I trolled for several hours and I don't know how I ever did it without an autopilot, it's performance trolling is well worth the cost.

Hi, you commented on my thread looking for an Autopilot installer. You stated you did your own install using the Si-Tex unit. I checked out your link. That unit seem to include everything plus the pump. Its about $1200 + cheaper then the Garmin. How has it been working for you? Have you had it long enough to get to know it? Would you buy it again if you had to do it all over?
    Thanks for your input.
