I'm at Biloxi small craft. I go into the back a fair amount. I've waited on the bridge only once that I recall. Lots of big boats back there going out front everyday so I don't see the bridge being a big issue for you.

The motors rangreat with no issues during my one season of use. They push that hull to a top speed of around 50 MPH while cruising around 30 MPH with 10 GPH per side fuel burn. I loved those motors!

The hull is a pretty wet ride and could use a deeper V. It handles the seas just fine but with a lot of rattling and a fair amount of spray. The cabin is too small to be useful.

What are they asking for it?

Tommy, I have inadvertently found you while doing research on a boat I presume was yours that you traded in to Bass Pro shops in Pearland Tx. Your old 97 Century 3000 sport cabin with 2003 Yamaha 250's is still for sale at Bass Pro and I am interested in buying it. I? hope you wouldn't mind answering a few questions for me about the boat....

    1. I have seen that the 2003 Yamaha 250's have had issues with powerheads, has this been the case with these engines, or have they been pretty good since you have had them on there?

    2. The 97 century hull has also been a question of concern from some people. How would you rate this boat offshore in a moderate chop? I wouldn't have much interest in fishing 5 ft seas, but does it do well in 2-4 ft?

Anything else that I might need to know about the boat, feel free to type away.

Thanks, I hope you wont mind taking a few minutes to respond when you get an opportunity..

    Thomas Scott
