Yes the OEM fuel cell fixed the problem.
Now there's a guy who rebuilds the pumps for $200 and provides a warranty.
I'm going to go that route next time.
Heres the guy that rebuilds them.

Did the OEM fuel cells fix your problem? I'm headed into the same nonsense with having to advance throttle to get the engine started, though mine seems to smooth out after running for 10-15 seconds if I increase RPMs to 1500 or so and then back off to idle.

That bilge switch powers the very aft bilge pump just in front of the drain plug on the floor of the bilge. I could never figure out how to reach it. I changed the pump a year ago just because when one of the motors was pulled for outdrive work.
The other bilge pump is under two little panels forward in the bilge. Kind of inline with the front of the motors. It's operated by a float switch.
As long as everything is quiet you should hear the pump running when you turn that switch on. You can test it by putting a couple inches of water in that center bilge area and turn the switch on. The overboard hole for that pump is on the starboard side a foot or two above the water line.

You have a Monterey 302 right?
Quick question: To the left of the (vertically mounted) engine start/stop buttons is a (horizontally mounted) switch that is labeled "BILGE". It doesn't seem to do anything. Do you know what it is for? The manual also shows only BILGE.
    Thank you.

I saw an old post from last year where somebody was asking about a repower and you posted a pic from the Tampa boat show with a 5,7 show special. Do you happen to recall where that was from? (last weekend ,my SBC puked. Thanks,

Interested in the triple axle trailer. What boat was on it? Weight rating? What size tires? Model #? Where are you located? Thanks
