Vectorworks is about $125 per sq foot. So 40 x 12 north of 500k

You must be an old guy living in the past :-)
Its $125 for a plug, $140 for a LPT, and likely $225 or more total for a mold. Invincible's cat at Marine concepts was north of a million.
That is why it is so amazing to another old guy that you could drop that much money without ever building one before.

    Hi SVU-

Question for you about a Rybo Runner.

We have a late 1980's Rybo Runner at our shop here in Maine. Customer wants to repower with twin Suzuki 300's. This particular boat has the massive engine bracket and currently has twin Yamaha 300HPDI's (25 inch shafts) with Bob's Machine shop style custom high speed water pick-ups.

I have a few questions for you.

    1) Will that massive bracket handle the weight of the heavier Suzuki's?

    2) The current engines are 25 inch shafts with high speed pickups. SHould we install 25 inch Suzukis or go with 30 inch shafts?

    3) Also, there is a lot of internet talk about plugging the active vent holes in the side of the hull....any need for that in this application? If so, typically how long of a project is that (hours wise)?

    Thank you in advance,

    Ed
