It is a sweet and well built ride. The center console is about an inch thick glass, very solid. My floors are 100% rock solid as is the outside of the hull. Boat rides awesome at 40mph all day every day regardless of wave height. 2"-3" footers are nothing. I actually feel like if im not going 40+ mph im just sitting still it is that fast on the chop. boat looks gorgeous and fast just sitting there. I have a few spider cracks on the gunnels and floor but that depends on what kind of treatment the boat got before me. All in all i'm in love with it.

    Hey Stang4u2nv,
I am looking at a 2002 Island Runner. Looks like the same boat you have except this one has twin Merc 250's. I realize the motors make a huge difference but can you give me some insight into the boat. How it handles in rough water comfortable speed in this hull? Anything else about this model boat would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
