Hi Gil, thanks for your time today helping me figure out some options. Please send me that screen shot and videos. Also, looks like I'd be interested in the 567xs and B75M-20 transducer.

Gil what do you have auto pilot wise? I have a Sea Hunt 27 twin 150's with sea star power assist.
Have both Garmin 4010 and Simrad NSS8 purchased from you.
    Thanks,
    Jeff

With all of the issues I am reading regarding the software upgrades for the SIMRAD NSS series, is the NSS series a safe purchase? I love the SIMRAD touch technology but do not want to buy new into a an instant technical support issue. Thanks!

I am having a 30' center console aluminum stepped hull built. I am deciding on electronics. With Garmin 6212 and gsd 26 the transducer I think might be appropriate is SS 175L-20. I fish mainly in 30'-200' but will sometimes fish in deeper water up to 1,000' can you please give me your advise on the transducer selection. Is the "L" a good choice.
    Thanks very much
    Rick

    Gil,

One final request. I need a price for (2) NSS8s, 3D radar, Simrad Sonar module, Simrad GPS antenna, and good exterior transducer . I will be interfacing with Simrad auto pilot. Thanks!

    Hey Gil-

I am having all new electronics installed on a newly built boat. 26' center console. I have been following you and reading all your thoughts etc and appreciate all that you have to say.

I am looking at the SIMRAD NSS7 or 8. The boat will be located up in Cape Cod Ma. I will be using the Fishfinder for striped bass into depths of 40-80' and also for Bluefin tuna 120-300'.

The Radar (3 g 0r 4g) for the fog, obv and the chart plotter for standard reasons.

I like the idea of two, as I can network the two and have one screen for each of the three options.

What are your thoughts on this configuration? Do you think this is a good idea, or would you recommend something else? I am looking at spending 2-3 grand.

If you can put together a few packages for me, with current promotional pricing etc. for 2 NSS7s, with 3g or 4 g radar, as same for the Nss8's. Also, which transducer would you recommend? I want a thru hull for sure.

    I appreciate it! adam
