Scott before you swap props raise your motor. I have a 23 Kencraft challenger which is similar to your regulater I have a 250 Johnson with a four blade prop. I was convinced I needed to change props because I was having the same issue as you. I contacted Ken from prop gods and he had me check the cav plate on my motor. Do it with another person on board. Get the boat up to cruising speed trimmed up with no tabs and go look at your cav plate and see where it's running shouldn't be under water it should be on top. Mine was about 2-3 inches underwater and I moved the motor up two holes which takes about twenty minutes. The boat will run 100 times better guaranteed it runs higher out of the water. I gained speed and rpms and also better hole shot. Ow I just bought a three blade to gain some more. Storm put me off till this weekend can't wait to check it. Call Ken he knows his stuff. Good luck Mike

    I own a 2005 257 with twin Yamaha 150's

Q1 -yes it fills very fast and drains well.

Q2 - none that I have come across.

Q3 -never had a problem with baits holding up in there.

Q4 - have no issues with extra weight on the boat.

Q5 -again this boat is heavy built like a tank, I have had no issues with 2-3 foot chop, usually run around 3800 RPM thru that plus can play with tabs.

Q6 - nothing that I can think of

Q7 -from pic my waterline looks almost the same

If you don't mind me asking what is asking price? just boat mine a year ago if you have any other questions just PM me. Good Luck!
