Aloha John, saw a post you did on Jerry's Cowboy bertram 28. Got any info and pics on how the single diesel worked out? Hope it turned out well with the weight savings. Mahalo, Sean

Do you know Dan Hawley? His wife is Sheala.
Her mother lives in a house by the Police station in Quepos.
    Sheala sister is "Flacca"
She worked at "the Hotel Cailfornia"
    Her brother is Martine?
Dan and Sheala have property in Las Vegas.
They live here in Florida, Sarasota.
I would love to come down and fish with you sometime.
You are welcome to come and fish with me here.

I noticed some of your advice to another THT member about fishing in Costa Rica, I am going to be in Los Suenos in March and was looking for some guidance on some of the better boats in the area. Thanks for any help you can provide. - David Ladic

If an expat with a 25' Sea Vee was to move to Costa Rica with the intent r hope of fishing for yellowfin tuna and hoos, where would he want to live as to be closest to the fishing grounds and do they have ramps to launch boats? My boat is an inboard. Next question is, since it costs so much to transport a boat to CR, would I be better off selling the boat and bringing 15K cash to buy one there? Any help u could give a guy would be appreciated. I am looking at moving to CR, Cabo SL , Belieze or Panama in the next 4 yrs. Enjoy your posts, Todd

If I were to be able to move to Costa Rica, what do you think would be the best small boat for a guy to have to catch yellowfin and hoos? I currently have a 25' Sea Vee inboard gas on a trailer. Do they have boat ramps there? I guess I would have to get it shipped there. What would they tax me for bringing a personal boat and pick up truck?
I've been reading up a lot on Cost Rica and as soon as I get rid of my wife.........Any help/information you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Todd

Hey can yo send me phone number email, I can get ahold of you directly. I do have a few groups that contact me about fishing and will be staying in the quepos area.
some are also interested snorkeling/ spearfishing if you know anyone down that way that does it.
I do as much free dive spearfishing as I can, whenever I get the chance and am on a few forum sites for it. i do requests for info for the quepos area time to time, but have not fished or dove nearshore there, even though I do See quepos boats up here at the 26 every now and then

Yes I am New on the Forum, I run La Vida, a 32 contender walk around, which is on the charter dock, and Reel Retirement a 57' Bertram on the private side.been here 6 years on the Bertram, but finally got La Vida legal and a little over a year ago.
On La Vida, I do inshore and offshore charters, trolling, Live baiting, Jigging, and love Popper fishing-inshore and offshore- especially for tunas.
I also manage a couple very nice 3brd/ 3bth condos, here in Los Suenos- montebello if you ever have anyone up this way.
do yo know anyone that way that specializes in shook fishing? i have seen the nice one on your site- I have people coming around the 19th of Jan that were looking for a good snook charter. I don't like to do it as the river mouths this way are a little shallow for my deep v and it is a bit sketchy going in the surf around here with a boat (and customers)

I don't know why I didn't get this message in my email. Sorry for the late response. I'd love to do your trip, but I only have the 4, 5, 9 and 10 open. Do those days work for you?
