The BJ 256 running surface is a proven ride. The Coastal 'hybrid' cockpit layout looks to be perfect for me, esp for the inshore & near shore stuff that I do. Rear seating can be easily done, but just not a priority for me. Love the open rear cockpit. Higher bow & an additional 18 inches LOA v the Morada 24. That said, the Morada 24 has been a super ride and I truly hope I do not regret selling it. Selling it to my brother. :-) BJ has been super to work with as has Metro Boating, adding Gemlux live well system and 17 GEM Blue water RH upgrades. I am getting hull # 3, so no real water tests on the Coastal.

    Hey Rocket,
I have been reading about your build of the Blackjack 256 and just saw that you have this 24 Maroado. Which i have herd is an extremely well ridding boat. I am a big Blackjack fan and will be purchasing one soon. Not the Coastal as the wife wants the jump seats. My question is, since riding both boats how do they compare on ride? In addition, any other comments would be great on the 256 since you stated you have owned some nice boats.
    Thanks, Trey
