We purchased the regal 33obx for 258 for the regal. The searay never got close to that price. they were above 300. We just took delivery on the regal so I have not had a chance to go out on it. The robalo looks like a nice boat as well. We didnt look at it. We pretty much fell in love with the regal at the boat show and it seemed to be the best combo of wants and needs for our family. We are also in socal and keep the boat in oxnard. We decided on outboards for maintenance and so we the running gear is out of the water when not in use. We felt the swimstep still allowed enough room to get in and out of the water and take a seat onto. Good luck with your search!

Hi, I saw your post about the Regal 33 OBX vs Sea Ray 350 SLX. Did you end up getting one of those boats? I'm also interested in these boats along with the Robalo r317 (although I don't have interest in fishing, I drove an r305 and really liked it). I live in So Cal and want something I can get out to Catalina and back or tool around the harbors so I think we're looking at similar boats. I love the idea of a swim platform but am leaning heavily towards outboards for maintenance.

Do you mind if I ask what prices you were quoted for the boats?

    Thanks!
    Joel
