I I can say from what I've had him do he does a good job. ALSO he's straight up if he isn't sure he will tell you. There's another guy who is listed under services on craigslist in the marine category . ONLY other guy I know is John Morin who has a small shop here I. SANFORD that will travel to your boat, likes to work on them
Under LOAD so you get the best results.I can get his number for you if you'd like.

I spoke with Glen, unfortunately he can't get to me for a couple of weeks. In your opinion is he worth waiting two weeks for or should I go to another place that can see me late next week. I know nothing about this mechanic so I need your personal opinion. I don't mind waiting if he really knows what he is doing
    Thanks, Glenn

Seems after the BS down off from Mass. the Providian is fishing in 1A and the Rayna & Kerstin has just finished hammering 1A east of Jeffries and they are steaming in to Port. R & K are they above board or below ... cause they are always around Jeffries ?

Hey sorry to hear of your mechanical breakdown. Speaking of mechanics, can you recommend a decent reasonable outboard mechanic. I have two '99 Johnson Oceanrunner 200's that run okay but could use a little tweaking to run a little smoother.
    Have a good Sunday.

cant use YELLOW PERCH in maine is against the law. Thers all kinds of bait shops around both places Sebago or Mooshead. Dont get caught using Perch for bait the guys in the green uniforms frown on it.

Do you just buy your shiners or did you try and catch them at Moosehead?

Did you ever try using little yellow perch as bait? I seem to be able to catch them pretty easy, but not sure how great they are as bait (pretty spikey).

Ya I found them last year at JOB LOTS. Remember ive been away for 8 years so some of this stuff is NEW to me. I found the HAMMER TONE jigs out fished the diamond ones easily 3 to one . Think the fish see it better because it refracts the light more. Ive been going to Job Lots in Sanford and buying them out when i find the MACKRELL look alike or ORANGE or PINK ones. I have enough right now to last me a few years. I bought them out last fall they had a 3 for one deal.

I see you posted about jigs. The hammered jigs at jigsrigsandstuff are so good you wont use anything else FORE EVER .... they are the bomb ! They are cheap and catch everything including GBFT. I usually get them with the single hook and only lose them with halibut , blue fin or sharks. They simply out fish everything. Nothing can compare ... my buddy Ron in the No Time boat has tried them because I let the cat out of the bag and brought one with me on his boat. If anything is down there they will hit it . I use the 14-20 oz in diamond or the Swedish cod jigs ... on the anchor I use 8-12oz diamonds ... all hammered ... it must be the vibrations these jigs give off .. Get some and you wont be sorry ... I also get his rubber teaser shrimp .... George is a good guy to deal with
