Hi northcap. I saw in apost youmade about 2 years ago that you were trying to decide between a steiger, parker and a judge. I'm considering all 3 of the above and was interested in what led to you deciding on the steiger. Thanks in advance.

The yellow cottage with the blue garage door (with a dock) on Kingfisher is my house.

If your family needs constant. outside stimulus for entertainment, North Cap may not be for you. I love to fish and my wife and children love the beach. The kids love to fish off of the dock and enjoy boat rides. My youngest is 17 and the oldest is 23. There is an active social network and the people are very friendly. It pays to be self sufficient and to plan ahead.

I understand your boat issue. My deal with my wife was no boat, then no house. I have several fishing buddies who don't have boats, and, frankly, I'm always looking for someone who wants to go fishing.

I get up in the morning, run, use a shower I build on my dock, grab a cup of coffee and watch the boats in the pass. What's not to love?

The cottage on Butterfly is virtually new. It will need some minor interior renovations to turn the laundry room into a second bath, but I think the seller may have a little room on the price.

thanks for the info island is beautiful boating and fishing are big deal for me what do you think of the fractional program and boats and more if you only there a month or so a year at first

also what do you think about the island life in general

I liked the house near mark and Wendy's new house - a bit big and some small issues like to buy that nice little cottage with the beautiful dock it seems like paradise (its not for sale probably owned by a friend of yours)!

Hi Northcap, just read through your post regarding your new 21 Miami. Congrats!!

I'm in NC and have been looking at the same boat. Sounds like you went directly through Steiger and not a dealer? Of course there's no dealer anywhere near me but when I spoke to the factory they told me I had to find a dealer.

Very curious how you worked this out, and of course what it ended up costing you. I visited Long Island a month ago and checked out a 21 Miami at a dealer. They were asking $50k with a 150hp.

Anyway would love to pick your brains on this if you have the time!

Thanks - Paul Wolff Hampstead NC

Talked to Connor yesterday. My boat got pushed back a little to make way for the Memorial Day deliveries. Okay with me as I want to install a NSS9 EVO2 which is backordered. The boat is about 4 weeks out. Connor promised picks.
