    Mark,
Leann and I sincerely appreciate you taking the time and effort to allow us to evaluate your boat and take a test ride. Especially after your long and difficult drive down to Venice. The ride was impressive as was the layout. The Calcutta is definitely in the mix for our choice of boat. We hope to make a decision by the end of this summer.
Thank you so much. It was a pleasure to meet you!

P.S. Went inshore Saturday. Caught a total of six redfish and a few black drum. Nothing to brag about and no specks. Water too high and stained.

    Sincerely,
    Dave and Leann Kinscherff

Any interest in a 2007 Cape Horn 23T twin F200 Yamaha 485 hours mint condition. Boat measures 25'2" with a 9'1" beam

I have a gamefish 25 with 90hrs on the twin on 150s. It has lowrance hds12 touch, covers that cover the console and seat, custom cover that hangs from the ttop and cover the whole boat, spray shield and gull wings, trailer, no bottom paint. I'm in maryland and keep indoors during the winter and high and dry marina in the summer I can email you some pics i have if you like

I know that feeling. Especially with electronics. It pains me to spend thousands on items that will soon be the older model at a fraction of what I payed.

    Felix:

Sound interesting. I found once I took delivery of boat I stopped looking/reading/staying up on all new product developments. I didn't want to see the next best thing and not have it. Keep us informed re: status of build.

Mark, from what I understand the new 115 is basically the same design as the larger 150 at 92 lbs. less weight per engine. They also have the same lifetime maintenance-free valvetrain design plus they are counter-rotating. Steve has stressed to me, along with other owners that the boat performs better with less weight on the transom vs. more horsepower. I can pretty much do all the maintenance myself. The Command Thrust model uses the lower unit from the larger 150 which can swing the V6-class propellers, such as the Enertia series. Mercury claims that the larger diameter props deliver improved acceleration and better boat control in rough seas. We'll see!? I'm interested to find out how they perform. Two of my best friends are marine mechanics, one also works on airplanes. They have no loyalty towards any brand and both told me that these new Mercs were performing just as good or better than the Yamaha's.

Hope all is well. They are finishing up my boat this week and said you were sending yours back for some mods? Let me know what you are doing...I want to make sure I have everything perfect and I followed your OCD lead.

    Whatcha doing?
