    Hello Just got home. I dont know anyone that could help up there. Maybe the boat sales on folly road has a number or 2. Georgetown has several great outboard dealers that could check the power. Of course the hull is a major item also. A survey should show water in the hull. ( My first thought) I really believe you should take the time to have it checked. That may take a week or so to set up.
    Will be glad to help you over the phone as much as I can. My second thought is "IF it looks neat and clean and the motor does also it may very well be fine. If you see things a bit off watch out. ( stress cracks, rust on engine etc) the Older Mako had a bunch of problems with water intrusion. If the bottom has been painted I would be very skeptical.
