Hi linesider159, I saw on a previous post you had asked about finding a place to leave your boat and trailer overnight during scallop season in crystal river. I was wondering how that all worked out and what you did?

    Thanks,
    Chris

Hello. My son fishes kids bass tournaments here in south florida. He has an amazing record and is looking forward to fishing for UF one day. Go gators! I see you fish on a college team. Im working on my sons first boat. But planning to buy him something even better sometime soon. I see you fish a flats boat. Obviously that has the advantage of being able to go anywhere. But in terms of bass fishing... what percent of the other college level kids went with a flats boat vs fiberglass bass boat vs aluminum bass boat? Curious. THANK YOU!! Mark

I did not want to post to Garys for sale thread(SCB). I talked to him last year. The SCB rides better than the Sterling and the Shearwater that he had prior. I asked about draft when he was running across Galveston Bay, their is some very shallow areas in that bay. His statement we just go around now. We run 80mph and take the long way now and still beat everyone to the area. They are bad ass machines, unfortunately the word has gotten out and their prices are pretty steep now. A new one will set you back $75k with just the basics. It is a 24' boat thou.

I've got a model 20-22 2012 Magic Tilt torsion axle aluminum trailer that is a little too short for my 24' Grady White. This trailer was ordered with upgrades to 15" tires and wheel, SS hardware and Kodiak SS disc brakes. This was an expensive trailer but doesn't fit the new boat.
The trailer has very few miles on it and is setting in Clearwater at the Magic Tilt factory right now
Some body at Bay Pines Marina backed into the receiver and bent it so it is being replaced. at Magic Tilt.
Call me if this trailer suits your needs. You can go by Magic Tilt in Clearwater and inspect the trailer.
I believe it is better to have a little bigger better trailer than needed and this should suit your needs.

    Hello,

Hope you had a nice holiday season. I saw from your sig, that you were wanting to buy some boats that are similar to one that is being offered at a great price right now. I don't know if you would be interested, but Mirage Mfg. in Gainesville, FL has been building boats since 1971 and they are introducing a 20 ft flats boat similar to the old silver kings. They are selling the first few at cost $24,990 including trailer and a suzuki 140. If this is something that you might be interested in please email me at jamesewelch3@gmail.com or you can call/text me at 863-712-0224. My name is James and I can get pictures to you at the beginning of next week if you would like. It is very similar to the old Silver Kings: http://www.us1radio.com/images/bizbaz/silverking.jpg

    Thank you,
