    Hi lima,
I was talking to you when you had thread about a valve for flushing your inboards. I suggested the groco ssc valve with the female fitting on one side. But you pointed out the threads are different. I was just wondering if you figured out what you are going to do.
    Thanks
    Eric

Do you know how long the 32 Blackfin was listed for sale? I currently have a 23 seacraft I intended to keep forever, but the sportfishermans are nice boats.

Sorry for the chopped message. I'm new to this forum and don't really understand how some of it works. It said my message was too long so I broke it into two sections and posted it that way. What a weird system.

There's no problems otherwise with a pre-92 hull and, from what I've read, if your primary use is ocean, you should be just fine with either. The problem I have is that the Great Lakes are a very choppy place. Waves are close together and any edge we can get is a good one since we don't have the advantage of riding swells in ocean. . .its mostly all some variant of "chop". I also have a wife who is prone to some mild sea-sickness, so anything that helps even-out the ride is a plus for me :-)

RM's boat looks wonderful! If I was in the market for a pre-92, from what I've seen for sale elsewhere, I'd be all over his boat. I've only seen one other that even comes close to that one (though these impressions are strictly from online photos and comment/descriptions.) Good luck on the hunt! Hope you find what you're looking for!

    HI Lou!

I'm glad the thread has been useful to you! It's been a very educational experience for me on this forum and I'm very grateful for the wealth of info that's been made available.

My decision to go with a post '92 is due to a hull change that year. The dead rise was increased from 14 degrees to 18 degrees (or there about) resulting in a better ride through chop. From what I've read from various posters and forums, the change was very noticeable to some and negligible to others. Some people say it rides much better, others say that don't really notice the difference.
