The reason i am looking at out boards is that I don't know the waters well enough yet to feel 100% with a twin stren drive, I would hate to get the wheel on the bottom, out of stupidity. And I feel 26-35' might be plenty of boat. We aren't chartering or tournament fishing so we don't have to go when it's blowing.

Any thoughts would appreciated. I don't have much experience in CR boats, so I am just asking all questions I can.

We had our best fishing out of Suanos this past Jan during the sailfish run, we fished with the "Good Day too", it was recommend from a friend working of the "Rum Runner" The kids had a blast. (14 sail in 7 hours 1-120" ) We love bottom fishing too, I am encouraged by your photos.

I saw the 31 contender listed for sale, I am guessing it was upgraded to LH.
What were or are the issues with the contender, I have been told they are real wet boats. I was curious if you owned it, or just caption? We are out of Flamigo and I am looking for a family boat, Snorkle Spear fish, Beach, troll and bottom, with wife and 3 boys, 12-9-3 years old.
Being from Texas PortA we fish rough gulf water from a 50 Bertram and often need more boat, lol
