i have just traded a 27' force marine hull for a corsair foiler 2200. may i ask you where and how you mounted the transducer on your depth sounder on your own 2200 and how the performance is? i am hoping to be able to mount a large through hull but seek your advice first.

I recently readfollowing a thread you contributed to about water in the oil on a Suzuki DF115. I found the same issue on my 2003's yesterday and need to get the boat running for a family vacation July 1st. I'm pulling things apart today and since you are in Central Florida area (I'm in Longwood) and just went through it I wanted to bounce few questions off you.
I pulled the plugs and they didn't show obvious signs of water intrusion. The number 3 cylinder may have looked a bit different with some discoloration but not cleaned off as if water was in it. If this lowers the chance of a head gasket failure should I just leave the powerhead intact and remove going straight to the engine holder? Did you get parts locally? Any chance this can be done in 2 weeks working nights after work? I doubt I could even get a shop to look at it before then anyway.

I have a pair of Stainless props off my old DF 115's. They are 13 7/8 X 21 SOLAS I bought them new last year. Maybe have 4 trips on them if you need a spare pair of 3 blades.
