I absolutely loved my 215. I repowered from a Evinrude fict 200 to a 4.2 liter offshore Yamaha 250 4 stroke. The new 4.2 liter 4 strokes are much lighter than the old 4 strokes. I think about 25 pounds more than a comparable 2 stroke. I can not speak for a Suzuki because they are about 80 pounds heavier I believe. My boat did not porpise at all. It's a nice riding Boat especially considering it is not a deep v hull. Did seem to sit a little low in the stern but scuppers never went under. Honestly with that much power I hardly used tabs unless I wanted a slow cruise or had lots of weight in the stern. I did several 150 mile days on my 215 and was always comfortable. I upgraded to a 235 this past winter and I just can't say enough about kencraft's. Happy to answer any other questions you might have. Good luck with everything!
